Carlos received his Juris Doctor degree from the American College of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.
- He is an active member of several legal organizations including the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA).
- Carlos speaks English and Spanish.
- He is admitted to practice law in California, including the Central District Court of California, all United States Immigration Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
- He practices immigration law in the sub-specialties of family-based immigration, naturalization, deportation defense, NACARA (Nicaraguan and Central American Relief Act), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action (DACA) and Asylum. Carlos also has extensive appellate immigration work experience to the Board of Immigration Appeals
and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
